Dormant Seeding Information

Do you have some areas in your lawn that were not looking real good in the fall.  February is a great time to do dormant seeding.  Spread seed on top of a lite snow (i.e. 1/2" to 1").  The snow does two things...it allows you to see where you are putting the seed and it draws the seed in the the soil when it begins to thawl in the spring.  So give this dormant seeding a try.  The customers that have done this and/or have had us do it for them, have been pleased with the outcome.
